TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Glengarry passed By-Law Number Z-16-2023, on the 27th day of November, under Section 34 of the Planning Act.

for a minor variance from the provisions of the by-law No. 39-2000 of the Township of North Glengarry as amended (being a by-law respecting the use of lands and the use and location of buildings).

The Canada Community-Building Fund was instrumental in the successful resurfacing of Emma Street, Tobin Street, Clara Street and Florence Street in Glen Robertson. 

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Glengarry will hold a public meeting of planning on the 27th day of November, 2023 at 5:45 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chamber, located at 3720 County Road 34, Alexandria, to consider a proposed amendment to the Township’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law under Section 34 of the Planning Act as amended.

The Township of North Glengarry Council proclaimed Circular Economy Month during the Regular Council Meeting of October 10, 2023. 

The Council for the Township of North Glengarry proclaimed that October 17, 2023 be designated the 23rd annual "Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day" in recognition of the education, dedication and commitment of child care workers to children, their families and quality of life of the community.

North Glengarry Ontario – On Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, the Collectif D’Artistes Glengarry Artists’ Collective attended the Township of North Glengarry’s Committee of the Whole meeting as a delegation to donate a piece of art as they do annually, to the Township.

On the evening of September 14^th, 2023, the Councils of South and North Glengarry convened a joint, private council meeting to address the recent announcement of the closure of the Glengarry News.
