SIGNIFICANT WEATHER EVENT DECLARED

Due to heavy snowfall, drifting snow and whiteout conditions due to high winds the Township of North Glengarry as officially declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 239/02.

This means it may take longer than usual to clear sidewalks, parking lots, and roadways to the Minimum Maintenance Standards.

Please avoid unnecessary travel. If you must drive, please use extra caution and stay a safe distance from snowplows. Please ensure you remain parked off the road to assist with clearing efforts.

Township staff are working hard to clear the roads and will notify you once the event is over. Stay safe!
