North Glengarry's current Mayor is Chris McDonell. Mayor McDonell was elected Mayor in a by-election on January 16, 2012 after serving many years as Deputy Mayor on municipal council.
Meet the Mayor - Friday mornings
The mayor is the spokesperson for the community and is always open to hearing from residents on issues of importance to them. In fact, residents wishing to meet with the mayor can simply call and book some time on Friday mornings. Meetings will take place at the Township Office at 90 Main Street in Alexandria. Call Monique at (613) 525-1110 and she can book an appointment starting at 9:30 am on Fridays.
