Glengarry Highland Games
North Glengarry is home to the world renown Glengarry Highland Games. The Games are the largest of its kind in North America, and attract tens of thousands of spectators and participants to the town of Maxville (population 800) each August long weekend.
The Games began in 1948 with modest ambitions and now feature the largest massed pipe bands in North America and attract tourists from around the globe.
