Rates & Fees

The Township of North Glengarry does not have any development charges and has very competitive tax rates and other fees for building and development. 

The Township is a lower tier municipality in a county goverment. That means the Township collects taxes for 3 uses:

• the Township's needs and service levels
• the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry for various county wide services like policing, land ambulance and social assistance (among others) and
• the province's education levy.

The overall tax rate for North Glengarry single family residences for all 3 levels of government in 2011 was 1.3984%.
