Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan
In the Fall of 2016, the Township of North Glengarry proceeded with a review of its Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan. A revised Plan was presented to Council in December 2016. The Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan is one of many tools that is used to guide the Township in its budgetary and planning exercises. CFDC Business Mentoring & Grants
The Cornwall & Community Futures Development Corporation provides Business Mentoring to businesses in the SD&G area, supports Economic Development initiatives and makes referrals to Community Partners. The CFDC administers grants and loans to local businesses (both start-ups and businesses looking to grow) and not-for-profits. Intakes are presently being accepted for the Eastern Ontario Development Program Grant (EODP). For more information, visit the CFDC website at www.mycommunityfutures.ca
La Société d'aide au développement des collectivités Cornwall et les Comtés (SADC) offre du coaching d'affaire aux entreprises locales, du soutien aux initiatives de développement économique et agit comme conduit auprès de ses partenaires communautaires. La SADC gère des subventions et prêts aux entreprises locales (déjà existantes ou en démarrage) et aux organismes à but non-lucratif. Les demandes sont présentement acceptées pour le Programme de développement de l'Est de l'Ontario (PDEO).
